Kids Orbit staff is fun loving and hard working. Applicants must be enthusiastic, creative, industrious, responsible, punctual, and resourceful and have a genuine love for children.
All applicants must be in good health and will be required to undergo a physical examination before coming to work. Kids Orbit will provide a medical form to be completed by the applicant's physician and submitted prior to starting work.
Those under the age of 18 will need working papers, which can be arranged through public high schools, or in the case of a private school student, by the Board of Education office at 475 State Street (3rd Avenue.) Kids Oribt will provide clearance papers which are easily completed by the applicant and the applicant's family.
Counselors and Specialists must be a minimum of 18 years of age and already attending college. Junior Counselors must be 16 or 17 and a Junior or Senior in High School.
Counselors and Junior Counselors must be available at least 3 afternoons a week from 2:45pm to 6pm. Specialists must be available at least 2 days a week from 3pm to 6pm.
