Ronny Schindler Founder and Executive Director
Born and raised in Haifa, Israel, Ronny has dedicated his life’s work to informal education and children’s development. He founded Kids Orbit in 1995. Ronny holds a BA in History and an MA in Education and has 35 years of experience working with children in various positions, more than 20 of them right here in Brooklyn. When Ronny is not busy with work, he’s a devoted husband and father of two teens, plays racquetball, skis, bikes and romps in Prospect Park with his dog Julius.
Heather Greene Enrollment Manager
Don’t be surprised by the “ma’am”s and “sir”s when speaking with Heather on the phone; transplanted from North Carolina almost a decade ago, she has kept her southern-style manners. Heather joined Kids Orbit in 2005, and over the years has worn many hats in our administrative office. She says, “I love working at Kids Orbit (as well as PSDC) for so many reasons. First and foremost is that I believe that we offer something that is truly an asset to our community. On a personal level, I love the customer service aspect of what I do; the ‘human element’ is essential to me."
Heather earned a BA in Religious Studies from UNC Charlotte. In her free time, she assists with her family’s film production company, and hopes to improve her knitting skills beyond hat and scarf making.
Rachel Bosamonte Enrollment
Rachel has been with Kids Orbit since 2003 and her son was part of program for 6 years! To her, Kids Orbit is a safe place where the kids can relax and have fun. When she is isn't answering your phone calls, she enjoys spending time with her family and doing logic puzzles.
Zarreen Perpall Lead Site Supervisor
This Brooklyn native has a BA in Chemistry and has been with Kids Orbit since 2006. To Zarreen, Kids Orbit is a safe, fun environment that fosters children’s growth.
When she’s not at Kids Orbit she’s either with her friends and family, traveling, reading or going to the gym.
Kevin Scott Site Supervisor at PS 8
Another Brooklyn native, Kevin has been with Kids Orbit since 2002! To him Kids Orbit is like a family where he can positively influence others. In his spare time he likes to do sports and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
Charles “Moose” Mussa Site Supervisor at PS 9
Born and raised in Brooklyn, Moose has been with Kids Orbit since 2005 and is currently studying to become a chef. To him Kids Orbit is a safe haven for kids. When he is not busy with Kids Orbit or school you can find him playing all kinds of sports.
Kenisha “Pana” Caicedo Site Supervisor at PS 58
Born in the Republic of Panama, Pana has been with Kids Orbit since 2005. She has a Masters in Marketing & Finance and a Masters in Education. When she is not mentoring at Kids Orbit you can find her either playing basketball, volleyball, Wii Fit or traveling.
Kris Sanchez Site Supervisor at PS 133
Born and raised in Brooklyn, Kris joined the Kids Orbit team in 2010 but has been a part of the Park Slope Day Camp family since 2007. He is currently in college studying for his degree in Theatre Arts. To him Kids Orbit is a place where he can reconnect with his inner child and be a positive influence for others. In his spare time Kris loves to dance, travel, go to movies and explore the lastest fad in the culinary world.
Dayne Wolfman Site Supervisor at PS 230
Born and raised in Brooklyn, Dayne has been with Kids Orbit since 2007 and has a BA in Television and Radio. To him Kids Orbit is an opportunity to be creative and a positive influence. He enjoys playing basketball, dancing, creating parody songs and drawing.
Oneka Kelly Site Supervisor at PS 282
Oneka is joining the Kids Orbit family for the first time but has been with our affiliate, the Park Slope Day Camp,
since 2006. She is excited to bring her experience, ideas and enthusiasm to enhance the growth of the kids at Kids Orbit, both intellectually and creatively. Oneka
holds a BFA in Musical Theater from Howard University. When she is not dancing or playing games with the kids she enjoys reading, choreographing, singing and any other creative things she can get her hands on.
